My Art is a present you give to yourself when you need a holiday. I was a Techie,
working hard, managing a home, 2 kids and a demanding job. Our only break was the
holidays we took. In Covid, I reassessed my life, found it wanting. It was then that I
decided to switch to art. Art gave me the freedom to slow down my pace. It let me linger
in the places I had visited. My art is about the emotions a place evokes. It lets you
travel to places and feel the warmth of the stone walls, smell the aroma of the flowers,
get immersed in that moment.
I am a Contemporary Impressionist doing urban landscape mostly. I use vibrant colors,
lots of layers, drips to convey the emotions. I have lived in Saratoga, CA for 20 years. I
got my MFA from AAU, SF.
